Four Off-Duty Baltimore City Schools Officers Present At Quadruple Shooting Reassigned: Report

Several Baltimore City Schools police officers have been temporarily reassigned after being at the scene of a quadruple shooting in the Hamilton area while they were off-duty, reports WBAL TV.

The shooting took place in the 5500 block of Harford Road in the late night hours of Sunday, Aug. 14. One of the four officers was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment and released a short time later, continues the outlet. 

The shooting left one man dead and sent three others to the hospital. One woman is in serious condition after being shot in the head while two others are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officials say that the officers were not targets or suspects in the shooting, the report states.
